Reuben Coats Megginson 
Reuben Coats was born on October 6th, 1864.1 Reuben Coats' father was John R. Uncle Jack Megginson and his mother was Fanny Hodgkinson. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Megginson and Mary Richardson. He had six brothers and four sisters, named George Amos, Richardson Dale, Ralph William, Joseph Peter Dousland, Robert Vincent, Simpson Shirley, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Luella, Linnie Teatheina and Georgia Hellena. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on April 5th, 1944.1 
‌Reuben Coats and Ida Mabelle were married in a religious ceremony on October 29th, 1890 in Woodson, IL.1 They had five sons and six daughters, named Cecil E., Alpha Jethro, Claud Dewey, Peter Dousland, Jesse Eugene, Bessie Mae, Maud Elizabeth, Sara Jane, Meda Louetta, Florence Mildred and Phyllis Irene.
