Lena Hettie Marbut 
Lena Hettie was born on May 25th, 1896 in Hillsboro, Hill Co., Texas.1 Lena Hettie's father was Harry Marbut and her mother is Ora Lee Walker. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Henry Marbut and Martha Ann Bassham. She had three brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Earl Horrace, Henry, Felix Baily, Hattie, Charlotte Nadell and Infant. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 76 on March 13th, 1973.1 General Notes
