Earl Horrace Marbut 
Earl Horrace was born on August 25th, 1902 in Covington, Hill Co., Texas.1 Earl Horrace's father was Harry Marbut and his mother is Ora Lee Walker. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Henry Marbut and Martha Ann Bassham. He had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Henry, Felix Baily, Lena Hettie, Hattie, Charlotte Nadell and Infant. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 on April 21st, 1966 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 General Notes
