Missouri Ellen LeGrand

Missouri Ellen was born on December 25th, 1849 in Meade Co., Kentucky.¹   Missouri Ellen's father was John B. LeGrand and her mother was Elizabeth Baskett-Baskin.  Her paternal grandparents are John Harris LeGrand and Nancy Cox; her maternal grandparents are John Baskin and Beth McNalih. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Sylvester, Franklin P., Richard Bassett, J. William, Sanford, David V., Lucyan, Mary Alice and Lucy Alice.  She is the third oldest of the ten children.
