Farley B. Hughes

Farley B. was born about 1829.¹   Farley B.'s father was Leander, Sr. Hughes and his mother is Elizabeth Fretwell.  His paternal grandfather was Powell Hughes and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Coleman. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named Powell, Leonard F., John J., Sr., Leander, Little Berry, William, Thomas Henry, Jesse Chesterfield, Julia A., Gilley, Gideliah, Carolina, Philadelphia, Elizabeth 'Betsy', Susan L. and Nancy Ann.  He is the fourth youngest of the seventeen children. He has a half-brother and a half-sister, named Ira B. and Sally Jane.
