Benjamin Higginbotham 
Benjamin was born in 1729 in ,Amherst, Va.1 Benjamin's father was John Higginbotham and his mother was Frances Riley. His paternal grandparents were Charles Higginbotham and Ann Rawlins. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Moses C, Aaron, John, James, Joseph, Thomas Jefferson, Rachel and Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
