Vivian Ruth was born in 1915 in Beatty, Comanche Co., Texas.1 Vivian Ruth's father was George Randolph Goosby and her mother was Minnie Mae McPherson. Her paternal grandparents were John Henry Goosby and Martha Barbara Allen. She had two sisters named Georgia Louise and Mary Jean. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 54 on February 22nd, 1969 in Richmond, Contra Costa Co., California. She was buried in Rolling Hills Cemetery, Richmond Contra Costa, California.1 1 General Notes
