Martha Gause 
Martha was born in 1800 in North Carolina.1 Martha's father was John Gause and her mother was UNKNOWN Mary. Her paternal grandfather was Needham Gause and her paternal grandmother is Hannah Frink. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, James S., William, Austin Bacot, Eliza, Mary J. and Ann Rebecca. She is the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
