Austin Bacot Gause 
Austin Bacot was born in 1808 in North Carolina.1 Austin Bacot's father was John Gause and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary. His paternal grandfather was Needham Gause and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Frink. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James S., William, Eliza, Martha, Mary J. and Ann Rebecca. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 51 in 1859 in Mobile, Alabama.1 -
