Mary Gertrude DeSpain 
Mary Gertrude was born on February 10th, 1901.1 Mary Gertrude's father was Richard Marshall DeSpain and her mother was Ida Frances Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Thomas DeSpain and Sarah Frances Warren. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named John Thomas, Raymond Alex, Everett C., Nora A., Lona Beatrice, Amy Frances, Alma, Nora A., Delcie Marie, Stella Kathleen, Grace Louise and Nettie Darlene. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 100 in 2001.1 General Notes
