Raymond Alex DeSpain 
Raymond Alex was born on March 19th, 1918 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Raymond Alex's father was Richard Marshall DeSpain and his mother was Ida Frances Skaggs. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Thomas DeSpain and Sarah Frances Warren. He had two brothers and ten sisters, named John Thomas, Everett C., Nora A., Mary Gertrude, Lona Beatrice, Amy Frances, Alma, Nora A., Delcie Marie, Stella Kathleen, Grace Louise and Nettie Darlene. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 82 on February 24th, 2001 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
