George Winfield Carlton 
George Winfield was born on January 18th, 1888.1 George Winfield's father is John Henry Carlton and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Hillyard. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Hillyard and Christian Elizabeth Graham. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, John, Martin VanBuren, James Carrol, Robert Guinn, Earl Raymond, Etta Green, Saletta Elizabeth, Ruth May and Grace Cornelius. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 68 on January 12th, 1957 in Greer Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
