Christian was born in 1780 in Richmond Co., North Carolina.1 Christian's father was John Keahey and her mother was Martha Jackson. Her paternal grandparents were William MacKeahey and Margaret Unknown; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Jackson and Christian Unknown. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John,Jr., William Samples, William,General, George Jackson, James S., Mary and Margaret. She died at the age of 39 in 1819 in Scott Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
