Maggie Pearl was born on January 18th, 1902 in Snyder, Scurry Co., Texas.1 Maggie Pearl's father was William Franklin Burney and her mother was Maggie Bell Ledford. Her maternal grandparents were James Kenneth Ledford and Darnellie Juliar Basham. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William Travis, Joseph Alton, Opal Laremore Jack, Willie Bill Conner, Ralph Woodrow Chuck, Stella and Ruby Lee. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 86 on February 5th, 1988 in Snyder, Scurry Co., Texas.1 General Notes
