John Burgamy 
John was born on February 6th, 1809 in Houston County, Georgia.1 John's father was William, Jr. Burgamy and his mother was Margaret Leggett. His paternal grandparents were William, Sr. Burgamy and Susan Hawkins. He was an only child. He died at the age of 52 on June 17th, 1861 in Griffin, Georgia.1 General Notes

John and Martha Davis were married in a religious ceremony on December 1st, 1830 in Putnam County, Georgia.1 They had nine sons and three daughters, named Tillaman Peurifoy, William Thomas, Eli, John C., James Whitfield, Emory Gause, Matthew C., McCarroll, Archibald Filmore, Mary Frances, Martha Jane and Piercy Ann.

William Thomas Burgamy
William Thomas was born on August 6th, 1834.1 He died at the age of 69 on September 9th, 1903.1
Emory Gause Burgamy
Emory Gause was born on November 25th, 1849.1 He died at the age of 57 on September 14th, 1907.1
