Isaac Jackson Brashears 
Isaac Jackson was born on March 8th, 1848 in Lawrence Co., Missouri.1 Isaac Jackson's father was Walter E. (Watt) Brashears and his mother was Elizabeth Elenor Basham. His paternal grandparents were Robert Brashear and Sarah Rhea Hankins; his maternal grandparents were James Monroe Bassham and Arta M. Holloway. He had six brothers and nine sisters, named Diocleshion W., Robert Washington, Jessie John Rankin, William Walter, James Basham, Reuben Dobbin, Elizabeth Elendor, Artisa Miney, Sarah Jane 'Sally', Martha Ann, Matida Lucinda, Catherine Adeline, Mary Angeline "Polly", Caroline Malissa and Malinda K.. He was the fourth youngest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 63 on June 15th, 1911.1 General Notes
