Laura Rachel Basham 
Laura Rachel was born on November 30th, 1896 in Riley Co., Kansas.1 Laura Rachel's father was Martin Van Buren Basham and her mother was Laura Valera Martin. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Anderson Basham and Rachel Louthan. She had four sisters named Mary Catherine (Cassie), Blanche, Manley M. and Lucy A.. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 92 on July 26th, 1989 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., Kansas.1 General Notes
