John Basham 
John was born on February 11th, 1792 in Virginia.1 John's father was James Basham and his mother was Frances (Mary) Taylor. His paternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah (Agness) Angel; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Taylor and Elizabeth Unknown. He had a brother and a sister, named Nathan, Sr. and Fanny. He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Archibald. He died at the age of 57 on October 2nd, 1849 in Ripley Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
