James Edward Basham 
James Edward was born on February 28th, 1921 in Holtville, Imperial Co., Calif.1 James Edward's father was Jasper Newton Basham and his mother was Hazel Luetta Doss. His paternal grandparents were James William Ellen Basham and Annie Pauline (Anna) Terry; his maternal grandparents are John Doss and Caroline Melahn. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jasper Dewitt (Bud), Living, Living, Eva Geneva and Living. He died at the age of 68 on March 4th, 1989 in Auburn, Placer Co., California.1 General Notes
