James 'Clinton' Basham 
James 'Clinton' was born on December 5th, 1869 in Clifton Mill, Breckenridge Co., Ky.1 James 'Clinton''s father was William Francis Basham and his mother was Elizabeth West. His paternal grandparents were Allen Dowell Basham and Malinda DALTON. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Hayden Anderson, Thomas J., Alsie M., Malinda Jane, Infant Female, Cornelia Ann and W. B. (Female). He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on November 25th, 1952 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
