George Reed 
George was born in 1810. George's father was Saunders Alexander Reed and his mother was Rebecca Elizabeth Crosby. His maternal grandparents were George Crosby and Susanna Evans. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Saunders Alexander, David H, Nelson I, Alfred Adelbert, Rebecca A and Elizabeth Crosby. He is the second oldest of the eight children.General Notes
