James was born about 1761. James' father is James Hodgkins and his mother was Elizabeth Evans. His maternal grandparents were Philip Evans and Elizabeth Harry. He had a brother and three sisters, named Samuel, Mary, Susannah and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died in December 1828 in ,Georgetown,Brown Co,OH.General Notes
