Miss De was born in 1042 in Conteville, Eure, Normandy, France.  Miss De's father was Harlevin Herluin Conteville and her mother was Arlette Herleve De Falaise.  Her paternal grandfather is Jean Of Tonnbridge De Conteville and her paternal grandmother was Mrs John Or Jean De Conteville; her maternal grandfather was Fulbert The Tanner De Falaise and her maternal grandmother is Doda Or Duxia Nmn Fulbert Falaise. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Odo Bishop Of, Robert De, Andre Seigneur De, Emma and Muriel De.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William I The Conqueror King Of and Adelaide Of.

‌Miss De and William I Comte De La were married in a religious ceremony in 1058 in Normandy, France.  They had two sons named Mathieu Seigneur De La and Hamon I Baron De.
