Theodore E. was born on February 18th, 1871 in Nolin, Hardin, Kentucky, U.S.A..1 Theodore E.'s father was Wyllis Skaggs and his mother was Charlotte Ellen Buckles. His paternal grandparents were Martin B. Skaggs and Sibba D. Kinkade; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Buckles and Mary Ann Cook. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William C., Emerson, Willis D., Charles McCague, Robert Taylor, Josie, Alice B., Ida E. and Lottie. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 on December 20th, 1943 in Lousiville, Jefferson, Kentucky, U.S.A.. He was buried on December 22nd, 1943 in Calvary Cemetery.1 General Notes
