Rady was born on April 13th, 1865 in , Grayson , Kentucky, USA. Rady's father was George Washington Spencer and her mother was Emma. Her paternal grandparents were Spencer and Kessiah; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Carby and Elizabeth Nichols. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Ander, Ken, Mart, Joseph M., Hal, Asa Dowell, Lenora, Ellie and Rosa S.. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 74 on February 24th, 1940.General Notes
