DELABAR
Herman "Ed" DELABAR, 78, of Woodlawn Avenue, Sciotoville, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital.
He was a retired employee with 47 years service at the former Empire Detroit Steel Corp., and was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Louise ESSMAN DELABAR; a son, Robert L. of Millwood, W. Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Jean) WHEELER, Mrs. Russell (Dorothy) COLLETT and Mrs. Mike (Martha) KLINE, all of Wheelersburg, and Mrs. Monty (Mary) SMITH of Sciotoville; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude SOMMER of Wheelersburg; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is planned at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. William PATTERSON and the Rev. Donald MAROON officiating, and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at Harrison Funeral Home in Wheelersburg from 6 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday. Recitation of the rosary is planned there at 8 p.m. Friday.
