Mrs. Mary M. DELABAR
Funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Mary M. DELABAR were conducted, Monday morning from the St. Peter's church in Wheelersburg and the last rites of this estimable woman were largely attended. A beutiful sermon extolling the many virtues of Mrs. DELABAR was delivered by Father CAREY. Undertaker Frank McCURDY had charge of the funeral arrangements.
Mrs. DELABAR had been enjoying good health in Tampa, Florida, until two weeks before her death. Her illness became alarming at once and a noted specialist; Dr. HELMS, was called to see Mrs. DELABAR. He advised her to go under the knife in a final effort to stay the hand of death but the operation failed to save Mrs. DELABAR's life. There was an intestinal obstruction, which eventually developed gangrene, the immediate cause of Mrs. DELABAR's death. Her illness was in no wise connected with an operation she underwent seven years ago for a cancerous affection. Mrs. DELABAR was conscious to the last and bade her three sons at her bedside good bye. They were Rev. Aloysius DELABAR, John and Harry HARMON, Rev. DELAMAR and Mr. HARMON were unable to accompany the the body to its last resting place on account of illness in their respective homes and John DELABAR made the long trip by himself.
Mrs. DELABAR received the best of treatment while in Tampa and her relatives will never forget the many kindnesses shown her during her last hours. Many beau ....... to the ..... cross, was sent by employes in the post office building.
