Emma C. was born on April 23rd, 1881 in , Scioto, Ohio, USA.1 Emma C.'s father was Charles or Karl BIHL and her mother was Christina SOMMER. Her paternal grandparents were Bernard BIHL and Carolina RUDMANN OR RUTHMANN. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles Fredrick, Andrew J., John J., Frank W., Carolina, Ruthmilla and Mary Helen. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on June 4th, 1956 in Dunsmuir, Siskiyou, California, USA. She was buried in St. Peter's Cemetery, Wheelersburg, Scioto, Ohio.2 2 General Notes
