1st Duke Of's father was John BEAUFORT and his mother was Margaret HOLLAND. His paternal grandparents were Duke Of LANCASTER and Katherine ROET; his maternal grandparents were Earl Of KENT and Alice FITZALAN. He had a brother and three sisters, named 2nd Earl Of, Joan, Jane and Margaret. He died in 1444.General Notes
