Edward “The Black Prince” was born on June 15th, 1330 in Woodstock, Oxford, England. Edward “The Black Prince”'s father was Edward III PLANTAGENET and his mother was Philippa OF HAINAULT. His paternal grandparents were Edward Of Carnarvon, For His Birthplace In Wales UNKNOWN and Isabella OF FRANCE; his maternal grandparents were William, Wilhelm III Count Of Hainaut And Holland UNKNOWN and Jeanne DE VALOIS. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Lionel, John, Edmund, William, Thomas, Isabella, Joanna, Blanche, Mary and Margaret. He was the oldest of the twelve children.
