Richard MARTIN 
Richard was born on August 3rd, 1802 in Exeter, Devon and his baptism took place there. Richard's father was Joseph MARTIN and his mother was Isabella Margaret STURGES. His paternal grandparents were Joseph MARTIN and Eleanor TORRIANO; his maternal grandparents were John STURGES and Judith BOURNE. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph John, George, Henry, William, Francis, John Sturges, Isabella Mary, Eleanor, Anne and Frances. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 85 on February 3rd, 1888.General Notes
