Joseph John MARTIN 
Joseph John was born on January 30th, 1790 in Bourton-On-The-Hill and his baptism took place there on March 20th, 1790. Joseph John's father was Joseph MARTIN and his mother was Isabella Margaret STURGES. His paternal grandparents were Joseph MARTIN and Eleanor TORRIANO; his maternal grandparents were John STURGES and Judith BOURNE. He had six brothers and four sisters, named George, Henry, William, Francis, Richard, John Sturges, Isabella Mary, Eleanor, Anne and Frances. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 83 on August 2nd, 1873 in Torquay, Devon, England. He was buried in Upton-Upon-Severn.General Notes
