Roger GIFFARD 
Roger was born in 1533 in Of, Tiverton, Devonshire, England. Roger's father was Roger GIFFORD and his mother was Margaret COBLEY. His paternal grandparents were Thomas GIFFORD and Anna CORYTON; his maternal grandparents were John COBLEY and Jane FORTESCUE. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, Walter, Hugh, Thomas, Andrew, Fulk, Anne, Jane Or Joan, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth, Wilmot and Philippa. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 70 on October 8th, 1603. He was buried on October 13th, 1603 in At, Tiverton, Devonshire, England.General Notes
