Mary GIFFARD 
Mary was born in 1531 in Of, Brightley, Devonshire, England. Mary's father was Roger GIFFORD and her mother was Margaret COBLEY. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas GIFFORD and Anna CORYTON; her maternal grandparents were John COBLEY and Jane FORTESCUE. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, Walter, Hugh, Thomas, Andrew, Fulk, Roger, Anne, Jane Or Joan, Alice, Elizabeth, Wilmot and Philippa. She was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children. She was buried on January 21st, 1598.General Notes
