Adela was born in 1062 in Normandy, France. Adela's father was William UNKNOWN and her mother was Matilda DE FLANDERS. Her paternal grandparents were Robert UNKNOWN and Harlette DE FALAISE; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin UNKNOWN and Adãele UNKNOWN. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, Richard, "Rufus", Henry I, Cecilia, Alice Or Adbelahide, Mathilda, Constance, Adaele (Alice), Gundred and Agatha. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 76 on March 8th, 1138 in Marcigny-Sur-Loire, France.-
