Joan BEAUFORT 
Joan was born about 1406 in Westminster. Joan's father was John "Fairborn" DE BEAUFORT and her mother was Margaret DE HOLAND. Her paternal grandparents were John Of Gaunt Duke Of LANCASTER and Catherine (De Roet) SWYNFORD; her maternal grandparents were Thomas DE HOLAND and Alice FITZALAN. She had four brothers and a sister, named 2nd Earl Of Somerset, Duke Of Somerset, Thomas, Edmund and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died on July 15th, 1445 in Dunbar Castle, East Lothian, Scotland.General Notes
