Marretje Gerrestse Van Couwenhoven

Marretje Gerrestse was born on April 10th, 1644 in Flatlands, Kings, New York, United States and her baptism took place on April 10th, 1644 in Oyster Bay, Nassau, New York, United States.  Marretje Gerrestse's father was Garret Gerrit Wolferse Vankouenhoven and her mother was Aeltie COOL.  Her paternal grandparents were Wolfert Gerre Van COUWENHOVEN and Neeltje JANS; her maternal grandparents were Cornelis COOL and Altien BRACKHONGE. She had three brothers and two sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named William Gerritse Gerreat, John (Jan) Gerretse, William Gerrettsen, Neeltje Gerretse, Aaltje, Jacomyntje and Jakemijntje.  She died at the age of 64 in 1708 in Probably, , New York, United States.  She was buried in 1708.

‌Marretje Gerrestse and Coert Stephense were married in a religious ceremony before 1666.
