James Sims

James was born on April 28th, 1810 and his baptism took place on August 29th, 1810 in Wotton-Under-Edg, Gloucs, ENGLAND.  James' father was Samuel Sims and his mother was Sophia COUSINS.  His paternal grandparents were John Sims and Elizabeth Ponting; his maternal grandparents were Robert Cousins and Elizabeth Cobb. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Anthony, John, George, Hannah and Rhoda.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He was buried on May 25th, 1818.
