Martin Schenck 
Martin was born in 1669 in Flatlands, Long Island, New York, United States. Martin's father was Roelof Martinse Schenck and his mother was Neeltje Gerretse Van Couwenhoven. His paternal grandparents were Martin SCHENCK and Maria Margareth BOCKHURST; his maternal grandparents were Garret Gerrit Wolferse Vankouenhoven and Aeltie COOL. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Marten Roelofse, Jan (John) Roelofse, Garret Roelofse, Annetje, Janetje (Jonica) Roelofse, Marike Roelofse, Marytje Roelofse and Jane Roelofse. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died before October 7th, 1745 in , Monmouth, NJ.General Notes
