Thankful was born on May 12th, 1734 in Attleboro, Bristol, MA. Thankful's father was Daniel READ and her mother was Elizabeth IDE. Her maternal grandfather was Timothy IDE. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Noah, Samuel, Daniel, Benjamin, Ebenezer, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Abigail and Rachel. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 82 on August 23rd, 1816 in Attleboro, Bristol, Massachusetts. She was buried in August 1816 in , , MA.General Notes
