Sara Nevius 
Sara was born on August 27th, 1656 in New Amsterdam, New York, New York and her baptism took place there on August 27th, 1656. Sara's father was Joannes NEVIUS and her mother was Adriaentje BLEIJCK. Her paternal grandparents were Joannes NEVIUS and Maria BECX or BECKS; her maternal grandparents were Cornelius De Potter and Swantje JANS. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Johannes, Cornelis, Cornelius, Pieter (Peter), Marie, Catherine Johanna, Sarah Catherine and Johanna. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
