Rebecca was born on December 21st, 1729 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Mass.. Rebecca's father was Edward Martin and her mother was Rebecca PECK. Her paternal grandparents were Ephraim Martin and Thankful BULLOCK; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Or Jathniall PECK and Sarah SMITH. She had a brother and two sisters, named Sylvanus, Mary and Hopestill. She was the youngest of the four children.
