Martin Barney 
Martin was born on April 1st, 1769 in Guilford, Windham, Vermont. Martin's father was John Barney and his mother was Rebecca Martin. His paternal grandparents were John Barney and Hannah Clark; his maternal grandparents were Edward Martin and Rebecca PECK. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Edward, John, James, Silvanus, Aaron, Rebecca, Hannah, Lydia, Anna, Lettice and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at 2 months old on June 18th, 1769 in Guilford, Windham, VT.General Notes
