Emma May LAYTON

Emma May was born on July 16th, 1917 in Central, Graham, Arizona. Emma May's father was Harry Wilford LAYTON and her mother was Emily or Emma Reay. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher LAYTON and Hannah Maria Septima Sims; her maternal grandparents were Miles Reay and Emily Abraham. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Miles Merlin, Ralph Reay, George Spencer, Roy W., Harry Luke, Christopher Elma, Cloyd Britt, Nola Drucilla, Martha Opal, Verma, Freda Florence and Mildred Nadine. She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 22 on June 1st, 1940. She was buried in Central, Graham, Arizona.
