Thomas was born about 1348 in Park Hall, Warwickshire, England. Thomas' father was Ralph De Arden and his mother was Isabella De Bromwich. His paternal grandparents were Ralph De Arden and Alicia De Beauchamp; his maternal grandparents were Anselme De Bromwich and Alice UNKNOWN. He had three brothers named John, Henry and Ralph. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
