Her paternal grandfather was Bishop of Mayenne Gerold; her maternal grandfather was Duke of Alamannia Nebi. She had three brothers and a sister, named Erlafred, Lord of Wormgau, I and Ermentrude of. She was the oldest of the five children. She died in Thionville, Austrasia.-
