Alexander "The Wolf" was born in 1343 in Dundonald, Argyllshire, Scotland.  Alexander "The Wolf"'s father was Robert II De Bruce Stuart and his mother was Elizabeth Mure.  His paternal grandparents were Walter Allan Stuart and Marjorie De Bruce; his maternal grandfather was Sir Adam Mure. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert (John) III, Robert, John III, Walter, Isabel, Katherine Jean Elizabeth, Margaret and Jean.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Sir David, Walter and Egidia.  He died at the age of 51 on July 24th, 1394.
