Robert Pryor 
Robert was born in 1725 in Gloucester, Virginia. Robert's father was Samuel Pryor and his mother was Prudence Thornton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Pryor and Elizabeth Virginia Green; his maternal grandparents were William Jr. Thornton and Prudence Willis. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, Francis (Frank), Joseph, Samuel, Luke, Thornton, John, Martha, Mary (Mollie) and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.-
