Thomas Leigh

Thomas was born about 1507 in Lyme, Cheshire, England. Thomas' father was Peter Leigh and his mother was Margaret de Tyldesley. His paternal grandparents were Sir Peter Leigh and Eleanor Savage; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas de Tyldesley. He had two brothers and a sister, named Sir Peter, Edward and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Cecilia and Anne.
