Leonora was born in 1402 in Medina del Campo, Valladolid, Spain.  Leonora's father was Ferdinand I "De Antequera" and her mother was Leonor Urraca De Castilla.  Her paternal grandparents were Juan I De Castile and Eleanor of Aragón; her maternal grandparents were Sancho De Castile and Brites de Portugal. She had six brothers and a sister, named Alfonso V, Miguel, Juan II, Pietro, Enrique, Sancho and Marie.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died in Toledo, Spain.

They had four sons and five daughters, named III, Duke of Viseu, Prince of Portugal, Affonso V "The, Princess of Portugal, Princess of Portugal, Princess of Portugal, Nun at St.Clara and Queen of Castile.
